Unlucky for us - London’s wettest April in 100 Years!!

Just in Time for the “London Prepares” Event.

Highly unlikely in August I was told – BUT you NEVER know!!

Thinking of the competition days makes me giggle, athletes wrapping their shoes with plastic bags or duck tape to stop water getting in from top and from the sides – standing in deep water puddles in the rain while shooting.. could not feel neither toes nor fingers - focusing on only one thing, and that is hitting the targets.

So needless to say my scores where not where I wanted them to be – but I blame it on the weather (lame excuse I know) but jeez it was hard work shooting in such conditions – Respect to the Champs!

Following this traumatic weather experience I have equipped myself with Rain Jackets, Full-finger shooting gloves, thermal wear & the warmest winter boots in the whole wide world!! UGG Boots Rule the Winter Chills!

Home challenge – when weather looks gloomy and winds are howling, guess who will be at the shooting range.. ME
