The past weekend we spent on my parents Game Farm...Oh what pleasure it always is.
The 5 of Us (thats Gielie, Myself, 2 Dogs and 1 Cat) hopped into the Prado and drove out to our Sacret Place of total relaxation and our "fuel station of good energy".
Spending Time with each other so close to Nature is priceless.. to take the time and listen to the Birdies chirp in the mornings or watching them pick at the seeds my Mom throws out for them is just plain and simply wonderful.
Waking up to the call of the Jakal or watching the antelope grazing in the far, running trails and taking in all the smells and sights.. makes me appreciate the little things in life..
The winter colours are currently on full display - amazed at all the shades of browns and yellows, the true Namibian Bush I suppose.

Can't wait for Summer Rains to fall - being able to smell the Rain is a Namibian Speciality!!
...and with the Summer Rains come all the pretty flowers...
The Rains turn the Desert into Paradise, if only for a few weeks, its definately something to look forward to.
